I suppose that it won't be the last form to be completed as there will be many to come.

The most recent forms which we received and which need to be completed are a health questionnaire which will allow the council to assess our health and contact our GP but also a consent form so that they can do some checks on us to know whether we are trustworthy people.

At the same time the letter which came with the health questionnaire informed us that our names are now added to the list to await an initial visit from an adoption social worker which is estimated to take place within 3 months. Therefore, the next milestone date is November for the first visit which will be the first of many to come.

I will give the council a call later this week to check whether they received the forms OK so that indeed we can move on to the next phase of the adoption process.
