Tags: Emotions when trying to get pregnant
On Saturday, our neighbours invited us to their BBQ. Some of their family, more of their friends and us, it was a really nice summer evening with a lot of food and wine.
One of their friends, who we never met before as they live in Scotland, just got married and when we started chatting, obviously, the subject of the conversation went automatically into children.
I was very happy to talk about it, did not have a problem from an emotional perspective and was actually proud of myself as sometimes I can get very emotional about it. The lady in question apologised a few times which was very kind and thoughtful of her but obviously she can’t know and I do not carry a message “handle with care when talking about children”.
It will never be easy but it’s a fact of life I need to get on with and some situations are easier to deal with as others but as least I could share my experience and point her into the direction of tiny miracles.
